BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS NOTICES:

 

OFFICIAL NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FAYETTE

 The South Fayette Township Board of Commissioners will be holding a Special Workshop Meeting on Gas Welling Drilling and Processing Procedures.  The meeting will feature a diverse panel of professionals associated with the gas well industry.  The panel will lead round-table discussions on various aspects of the industry; which will be followed by a short question and answer session.  The subject meeting will be held on Wednesday June 9, 2010, at 7:00 PM, in the L.G.I. Room of the South Fayette Township Middle School Building, located at 3700 Old Oakdale Road, McDonald, PA 15057.  Please contact David Gardner, Township Engineer, at 412-221-8700 with any questions.

 

OFFICIAL NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FAYETTE

Please take note that the Township has set its annual meeting schedule for the various boards, commissions and committees. All meetings will be held at the Township Municipal Building located at 515 Millers Run Road, Morgan, PA 15064. Anyone needing additional information and/or special accommodations should contact Michael W. Hoy at 412-221-8700. The meetings are as follows:

  1. Board of Commissioners (Workshop Meetings) - Second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM
  2. Board of Commissioners (Voting Meetings) - Third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM
  3. Parks & Recreation Board - First Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM
  4. Planning Commission - Fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM
  5. Zoning Hearing Board - Second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM
  6. Board of Standards - as required
  7. Library Board - Second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM
  8. Environmental Advisory Council - Third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM
  9. Municipal Authority - First Thursday of each month at 4:30 PM
  10. Feasibility Study Committee - Second Tuesday of each month
  11. Facilities Review Committee - First Wednesday of each month

 


PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICES:

OFFICIAL NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FAYETTE
 
The South Fayette Township Board of Commissioners and the Planning Commission will be holding a special meeting on Monday, April 5, 2010, 7:00 PM to discuss a proposed draft ordinance dealing with regulations for gas well drilling.  The subject meeting will be held at the Township Municipal Building, located at 515 Millers Run Road, Morgan, PA 15064.  Please contact David Gardner, Township Engineer, at 412-221-8700 with any questions you may have or if you would require any special accommodations with attending this meeting.

ZONING HEARING BOARD NOTICES

 

OFFICIAL NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTH FAYETTE

The South Fayette Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Township Building, 515 Millers Run Road, Morgan, PA. The purpose of the hearing is to review the
following application(s):

APPLICATION 3-2010 – A REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO ARTICLE V, SECTION 240-22 A. (1) OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE TO PERMIT AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE TO SERVE AS THE PRINCIPLE STRUCTURE ON A RESIDENTIAL LOT. THE APPLICANT RICH AND LISA HOOVER PROPOSE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 38’ X 30’ DETACHED GARAGE ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4576 BATTLE RIDGE ROAD, PROPERTY IS ZONED R-2.
